Required events to send to Sitecore Discover
There are many tracking events that we recommend that you send to Sitecore Discover. However, there are some events that you must send for Discover to work as expected. These events make it possible for the Discover system to collect important metrics and create personalized recommendations for shoppers.
Note
When using the runtime JS or SDK option, the following events are sent automatically: product detail page view, widget appear, and widget click.
The following table lists the types of events you must send to Sitecore Discover for the service to work as expected:
