Duplicate, delete, and view experience details

Duplicate an experience

You can duplicate an experience when you want to create a copy and not affect the original.

To duplicate an experience:

  1. On the experience builder, click > Duplicate.

  2. In the Duplicate experience dialog, enter the name of the new experience.

  3. Click Duplicate. A copy of the experience displays.

Delete an experience

Before you delete an experience, ensure that none of your colleagues want to access the experience or create a copy of it.

To delete an experience :

    Important

When you delete an experience, its unique ID is also deleted and can’t be reassigned to a new experience.

  2. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete. The experience is deleted.

View experience history

You can view the history of an experience to see a log of all the updates that have transpired.

To view the experience history:

  1. On the experience builder, click > History.

  2. In the History pane, apply any of the following filters to refine your search:

    • All users - select the name of the user who made changes to the experience.

    • All sections - select the specific section that was edited. For example, Audience, Goals, Overview, and so on.

    • Select date range - click the Calendar icon to set the date range for the updates.

View the experience setup details

After you create or save an experience, you can view its setup details, including name, type, status, and the last person who updated it.

To view the experience setup details:

  1. On the experience builder, view the following:

Name, type, status, and details of last update displayed on the top-left of the page.
    • Name - the name of the experience. To edit the name, click .

    • Type - the experience type. For example, Web, Interactive, or Triggered.

    • Status - the experience's current status, indicating if its Draft, Paused, Active, and so on.

    • Last updated by - the date and time of last save, and the username of the last person who edited the experience.

  2. When the experience is in any status other than draft, a status banner displays additional information.

The status banner shows the status, the start and end dates, and the timestamp.

For example, if the experience is currently active, the status banner shows both the status and start date and time of the experience. If there is a scheduled date for the experience to stop running, the status banner also displays that end date and time. If there's no defined end date, the text Forever will be displayed.

  3. To manage additional details related to the experience, navigate to the Details pane.
