Getting started with SitecoreAI

You must deploy a project and environment before you can see SitecoreAI in the Sitecore Cloud Portal. When you deploy an environment, it appears as an app in the Cloud Portal.

This walkthrough series applies a front-end-development (FED) first approach, as opposed to full-stack development with Docker. It describes getting started with front-end development with either Next.js using the Content SDK or the ASP.NET Core SDK. It explains running a local server and connecting the application directly to the remote content preview endpoint, to allow you to create a component, visualize, and test your work. This sets you up for developing the front end with SitecoreAI.

You follow the steps outlined here using the Deploy app Projects tab. You use the SitecoreAI interface to create a site and then start editing a site page in Pages. Finally, you use the Content Editor to create a component. You can learn more about the Deploy app and other tools and apps that make up SitecoreAI, and get to know some of our terminology.
