Trigger an automation manually

Most automations that you create in Sitecore Send are triggered automatically upon events or set conditions. In some cases, you might want to create an automation that you can run manually using one or more email addresses as trigger.

Trigger an automation using one email address

To trigger an automation using one email address:

  1. On the menu bar, click Audience > Email lists.

  2. Click the name of the email list you want to use.

  3. On the menu on the left, click View all members.

  4. Click the email address that you want to use as a trigger.

  5. In the top-right corner, click  and click Trigger an automation.

  6. In the Trigger an automation dialog, select the automation that you want to run.

  7. Click Trigger Automation. The automation and all the corresponding actions start to run.

Trigger an automation using multiple email addresses
