Generate a Brand Assistant response

The Brand Assistant enables natural, brand-aware conversations. You can ask open-ended questions or request content related to campaigns, marketing strategy, research, or brand guidelines.

Behind each response, the Brand Assistant applies an agentic AI process to ensure the results are accurate, relevant, and aligned with your brand identity.

We prioritize data security. All interactions with the Brand Assistant follow our data privacy and security policies.

To use the Brand Assistant for brand-aware chats:

  1. Log in to the Sitecore Cloud Portal and open the Stream app.

  2. In the Stream navigation menu, click Assistant.

    Note

    Brand Assistant is only available with Stream Premium. To learn more or discuss your options, contact your Account Manager.

  3. Select your brand kit. If you have multiple brand kits, ensure you choose the correct one for accurate results.

    Select a brand kit before chatting with the Brand Assistant.
  4. Optionally, select information sources and choose its writing style to match your needs. These preferences enable you to configure how the Brand Assistant generates responses.

  5. In the chat field, enter your prompt. Clear, detailed prompts help the Brand Assistant generate relevant answers.

    Prompts can be entered in any supported language. Check out the example prompts to help you get started.

  6. Optionally, click the Upload icon or drag and drop a file into the chat to add context for the Brand Assistant. You can upload multiple files at once:

    • Images - upload .jpg, .jpeg, or .png files up to 20 MB each (50 MB total for all images per chat).

    • PDFs - upload .pdf files up to 20 MB each (50 MB total for all PDFs per chat).

    Uploaded files stay visible in the chat and appear side by side.

  7. Optionally, to enable Brand Assistant to generate a response based solely on web sources, click Tools and then click Web search.

  8. Click Submit .

    After submitting your prompt, the Brand Assistant might take a few minutes to generate a response, especially if it's using multiple AI agents to complete the task.

Understanding the generated response

Note

The Brand Assistant strives for accuracy but it might occasionally generate incorrect responses. Always verify the information provided.

Each response generated by the Brand Assistant includes the following elements:

Brand Assistant generates a response based on its thinking process.
  1. Thinking - shows how the response was generated. Click to expand and view details of the agentic AI process, including where the information came from - like brand knowledge or web searches.

  2. Response - the main answer generated based on the Brand Assistant's thinking process. It uses information from the Brand Context or searches brand knowledge or the web to deliver the most relevant answer.

    Note

    When you use the Brief or Brainstorming tools in the Brand Assistant, the response also includes an artifact - a standalone content block that appears in the right-hand pane.

  3. Sources - list of sources used to generate the content. This might include brand knowledge, web sources, or both.

  4. Suggested follow-up questions - related questions or prompts you can use to continue the conversation or explore more topics.

Refining the generated response

If the Brand Assistant's response isn't what you expected, try the following:

  • Rephrasing your prompt.

  • Adding more detail or context.

  • Clarifying your request.

Then, regenerate the response for better results.
