Create a marketing theme

Templates enable you to streamline your work processes. You can create as many templates as you need and to make it easy to sort and find templates, create a marketing theme. A marketing theme is a template category (such as Acquisition or Win Back) that enables you to organize and sort templates based on business objectives. In the template details, it is called a "campaign type".

Create a marketing theme

To create a marketing theme:

  1. On the Sitecore Launchpad, click Content Editor.

  2. In the Content Editor, navigate to sitecore/System/Settings/Analytics/Marketing Themes.

  3. Right-click Marketing Themes and click Insert, New From Template.

  4. Navigate to the Templates/System/Analytics folder and select Marketing Theme.

  5. In the Item Name field, add a descriptive name and click Insert.

To add a template to a marketing theme, edit the campaign template and, in the Template details dialog box, from the Campaign Type list, select the theme that you want to add the template to.
