Remove contacts enrolled in a marketing automation campaign

Using the Report view, you can access an overview of how many contacts are interacting with your automation campaign. Only Listener elements, as well as the Delay element, record the number of contacts who have entered the activity (for example, Campaign Activity Triggered) and those who are still in the activity or who have passed through the activity.

Note

If there is no reporting information available for a campaign (for example, if there are no contacts enrolled in the campaign), you cannot access the Report view.

To remove contacts who are currently enrolled from a campaign:

  1. On the Sitecore Launchpad, click Marketing Automation.

  2. Select the relevant campaign.

  3. Click Report view.

  4. In the Campaign Overview pane, in the Current Contacts section, click View Contacts.

  5. To remove an individual contact from a campaign, select the check box next to the contact you want to remove and click Remove Contacts.

  6. To remove all contacts from the campaign, click Remove Contacts.

Removing contacts from a marketing automation campaign removes them from the campaign enrollment list. It does not delete the contacts from xDB. As a result, the Current contacts count may still include contacts that exist in xDB, including contacts without personal or email facets.
