Create a content widget

In Sitecore Discover, banner and HTML block widgets are content widgets that you can add to your application. You must configure them in Discover Customer Engagement Console (CEC). This procedure describes how to create a banner widget.

To create a banner widget:

  1. In the Widgets section of the CEC, on the Widgets tab, click Add Widget, and click Banner.

  2. Enter text in the Widget name, Rfk ID and Variation name fields.

  3. In the Will be used in drop-down menu, select an option and click Next.

  4. To select an appearance style from the list of style cards, on a card, click Choose.

  5. To configure the look and feel settings of the widget, open the various collapsible options and assign values to the various fields.

  6. To review your widget, click Next.

  7. If the settings are correct, click Next.

    Alternatively, to go back and change your settings click Prev.

  8. Click Save.
