Create a schedule to send reports using email

In the Customer Engagement Console (CEC), you can use an email scheduler to share reports using an email message, with a defined set of recipients, on a regular basis.

Note

You can only share reports with other CEC users using this method. To share reports with stakeholders that do not have access to the CEC, you can download PDF or CSV files, and share them using the method of your choice.

Add an email schedule to a saved report

To add an email schedule to a saved report:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Analytics.

  2. On the menu bar, click Customized reports then click Saved reports.

  3. In the list of saved reports, click the report you want to open.

  4. At the top right-hand side of the report, click Email report .

  5. Click in the Recipients field, and begin typing the recipients email address. Click the recipient name when you see it in the list.

    To add more recipients, repeat this step.

    Note

    Recipients must be configured CEC users.

  6. Optionally, in the Subject input text field, enter a relevant subject for the email. The default is the report name.

  7. To configure a schedule, in the Frequency drop-down menu, click Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly.

    If the Frequency is Daily or Quarterly, go to step 10.

  8. In the Repeat on section, choose the frequency you want.

    For weekly frequency, click the day of the week.

    For monthly frequency, click on the date.

  9. In the End date drop-down menu, click Never to send the reports indefinitely, or Specific Date to specify an end date from a date picker.

  10. Click Save.

Edit an email schedule

To edit an email scheduler configuration:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Analytics.

  2. Open the report you want to edit.

  3. At the top right-hand side of the report, click Email report .

  4. In the Email schedule dialog, change the values in the fields, and click Save.

Delete an email schedule

To delete an email schedule:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Analytics.

  2. Open the report you want to delete.

  3. At the top right-hand side of the report, click Email report .

  4. In the Email schedule dialog, at the top right-hand side, click Delete schedule.
