Export page data to a CSV file

Abstract

Describes how to export information about Sitecore Discover pages to a .csv file using the Customer Engagement Console.

When working with pages, you might have to create a Sitecore Discover category specification file or a sitemap for search engines. To facilitate this process, you can export all of your page names, hard filters, and their supported URLs from the Pages page of the Customer Engagement Console (CEC).

To export your page data to a CSV file:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Pages.

  2. On the top right of the page, click Page Export (export_icon.png).

  3. In the dialog box, click Export offline data.

    Note

If you expect the file size to be relatively small, you can click Export All URIs to download a CSV file containing the names, hard filters, and URLs for all pages immediately with no further action required.

  4. In the Pages export dialog box, in the File format field, select CSV.

  5. Optionally, to exclude an attribute, deselect it from the Included attribute list.

  6. Optionally, to receive email notifications regarding this and any future offline data processing on your domain, click Sign up offline data processing notification by email.

  7. Click Export. A dialog box with a link to the Offline Data section of the Administration page appears. Click this link to view the file's status.

    Tip

To access the Offline Data section at any time, in the CEC, on the menu bar, click Administration, then click Offline Data.
