Preview a page with a certain context

When working with pages, you might want to view a page with a certain context. For example, you might want to see what the page looks like on a certain date, what it looks like to a visitor in a certain user group, and so on.

To preview a page with a specific context:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Pages.

  2. Click on the page, then the variation that you want to preview.

  3. On the Page Components tab, in the left pane, click an arrow to expand a context category. For example, to view options related to the visitor, click the arrow next to Visitor Context.

  4. (Optional) If you use timed product availability, you can see what the page will look like on a specific future date by clicking Viewing as now, then clicking Future date & time. Then, choose the date you want in the date picker.

  5. Fill in the context values or filters you want to enable while previewing the page. As you add context values and filters, the preview pane updates to show new products based on your choices.
