Walkthrough: Creating a landing page
Sitecore Discover landing pages can be used to create promotional landing pages, homepages, carts, search result pages, and so on. You can make a landing page using the Customer Engagement Console (CEC).

Set up a landing page
To set up a landing page using the CEC:

In the Customer Engagement Console, on the menu bar, click Pages.

Click Create Page, then click Landing Page.

On the Setup Page tab, fill out the Page Name and Page Variation Name fields, then click Next.

(Optional) To host the page on the Sitecore server, click the Host page on Sitecore server slider.
ImportantTo host the page on the Sitecore server, you must have a proxy set up to direct traffic to Sitecore. Consult your integration team for more information about proxy settings.

On the URL tab, fill out the PAGE URL field.

(Optional) To add more URLs, click Add URL once for each additional URL and fill out the PAGE URL field. Click Next.

(Optional) If you are hosting your page with Sitecore, on the Template tab, click Add Template. Then, fill out the TEMPLATE URL field and click Next.
Apply hard filters
You can use hard filters to limit page contents by category, price, brand, and so on.
To apply hard filters to your page:

On the Hard Filters tab of the page creation process, click Add Hard Filter, then choose the filter you want from the drop-down.

In the Value box, enter the value you want to apply to the filter.

Click Next to review the page setup.
Review the page setup
To review your page setup:

On the Review tab of the page creation process, click the arrow icons for each of the cards to expand them.

Review the details for each card for accuracy.

If you have to make any changes, click Prev until you get to the tab where the corrections are required.

When you have made corrections, click Next until you get to the end of the wizard.

Click Save.
Add a widget to the page
To add a widget to the new page:

On the Page Components tab, click Select Widgets.

From the widget pane on the right, drag the widgets you want to the pane on the left.
NoteYou can filter the list of widgets by type by clicking on an icon on the top of the widget pane.

(Optional) To reorder widgets on the page, drag widget cards up or down in the left pane.

Click Save.

Click Publish.
