The My day page

The My day page makes it easy to track your pending tasks and the projects you’re involved in. It provides a personalized dashboard where you can prioritize and organize your workload.

To access the My day page in Sitecore Stream, on the navigation menu, click My day. A field at the top of the page allows you to chat with the Brand Assistant. If your organization has set up a brand kit, you can select it from the drop-down list and ask questions about your brand.

Note

Brand kits are only available with Stream Premium. To learn more or discuss your options, contact your Account Manager.

The My day page consists of these sections: My tasks, My projects, and Project tracking.

The My day landing page provides a quick overview of your assigned tasks and project status.

My tasks

The My tasks section makes it easy to find and manage your tasks. Tasks that are not yet completed are displayed in a table showing the task name, status, due date, and associated project for context.

You can view up to ten tasks in this section. If your list exceeds ten items, click Show More to display additional tasks.

By default, the section displays all tasks assigned to you. You can switch the view to only show tasks due in the current week, making it easier to prioritize your work.

Click a task to quickly open task pane, where you can view and edit details such as task description, timeline, priority, and the action needed to complete it.

My projects

The My projects section provides a quick overview of your active projects. Each project is displayed with its name, a thumbnail image, and a progress bar that shows the percentage of completion.

You can view up to five projects you are a member of in this section. To access additional projects, click View all projects at the bottom of the list.

Click a project to open its project details page, where you can review specific information and access different project views. This helps you stay informed and makes it easier to manage your projects.

Project tracking

The Project tracking dashboard provides a high-level summary of project progress. Use the Projects filter to select one or more projects.

Team members with a User app role in Sitecore Stream can only select one or more projects they are a member of. Team members with an Admin app role in Sitecore Stream or an Organization Admin or Organization Owner role in Sitecore Cloud Portal have access to all projects.

After you filter by project, the dashboard displays the corresponding metrics in the following sections:

  • Total project status - displays the percentage of project completion. Tasks are categorized and color coded as Not started, In progress, or Done, allowing you to track progress at a glance.

  • Total task progress - shows the distribution of tasks with a status of To do, In progress, or Completed using bar graphs that add up to 100%. This provides a clear visual breakdown of tasks within a project.

  • Deadline management - displays the number of tasks by their due dates, including tasks due today, this week, this month, and overdue, making it easy to prioritize time-sensitive activities.

  • Risk assessment - categorizes tasks as Unassigned tasks, Not started, or Overdue tasks, highlighting potential risks that could impact project completion.
