Create, edit, or remove a link in a rich text field in Horizon

This topic describes how to create a hyperlink in a rich text field in Horizon to an external website. After you create a hyperlink, you can edit the hyperlink, or you can remove the hyperlink without removing the text.

To create a link in a rich text field:

  1. Select the text that you want to format as a link.

  2. In the rich text editor panel, click the Create or edit hyperlink icon The create link icon

  3. In the link panel, in the Path field, enter the URL of the webpage you want to link to.

  4. In the Target field, specify how you want the link to open in a browser. For example, specify that you want the link to open in a new tab or window.

  5. In the Alternative text field, enter the text that will appear when a visitor hovers the cursor over the link.

  6. To test the URL, click Test URL.

  7. Click Close The Close icon to close the Link details panel.

To edit a link in a rich text field:

  1. Select the text that is formatted as a link.

  2. In the rich text editor panel, click the Create or edit hyperlink icon The create link icon

    • To edit the link properties, edit the fields in the Link details panel.

    • To remove the link without removing the text that is formatted as a link, click Remove link.

  3. Click Close The Close icon to close the Link details panel.
