Finish configuration

After developing your app, you must return to the app configuration page to finish setting it up.

To finish configuring a custom app:

  1. In the Cloud Portal, click App studio > Studio, then click the app you want to finish configuring.

  2. In the Deployment URL field, enter the public deployment link of your app, for example, https://my-app.com. The deployment URL is the production URL Sitecore uses to display your app.

  3. In the App logo URL field, upload the final version of your app logo.

  4. In the Organizations section, click and then enter the ID of any organization that you want to authorize to install your app. Alternatively, to revoke authorization, remove the organization from the list.

The organization ID is located in the Cloud Portal URL: organization=<ORGANIZATION_ID>&

    Example organization ID: org_0123456789012345

  5. If you created client credentials, update the authorization URLs to include your production URL.

  6. Review all other configurations, such as the app's extension points, API access, and permissions.

    Note

If you change the extension points, API access, or the permissions of an installed app, depending on the changes, you might need to update the app.

  7. Optionally, to rename your app before activation, click the current name, update it, then click Accept .

The app is now ready for use. Next, grant app access to organization users so they can find and start using your app.
