Manually enable the xConnect Collection Search service

You can manually enable the xConnect Collection Search service on any other XP service application role to create a combined role. For example, to combine the xConnect Collection Search service with the Reference Data service:

1. Install the Reference Data service using a WDP from the XP Scaled packages.

2. Manually enable the following configuration files by removing the .disabled suffix:

   File	Path
   sc.XConnect.Collection.Initialize.xml	App_Data\Config\Sitecore\Collection\
   sc.XConnect.CollectionSearch.Initialize.xml	App_Data\Config\Sitecore\CollectionSearch\
   sc.XConnect.MarketingAutomation.Initialize.xml	App_Data\Config\Sitecore\MarketingAutomation\

3. Add any additional connection strings required by the xConnect Collection Search service.
