Duplicate a web template

You can duplicate a web template when you want to reuse part or all of an existing web template. For example, you might want to reuse the HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or FreeMarker that exists in a previously created web template.

Team members with a User, Developer, or Admin role in Sitecore Cloud Portal can duplicate a web template.

To duplicate a web template:

  1. From the Web templates page, open the template you want to duplicate.

  2. Click Vertical ellipsis > Duplicate Template.

The vertical ellipsis on the menu bar.
  3. In the Name your template field, enter a new name for the template.

  4. Click Duplicate. The HTML tab displays for you to configure the web template.
