Customize icons in Page builder

In Page builder, you can set the icon shown next to a style to display it in the authoring experience. Page builder uses the icons in the Material Design Icons (MDI) library. All icons are supported but the icon name must be entered exactly as shown, in kebab-case, for example arrow-left or file-document-outline.

To customize a style icon:

  1. In Page builder, in the top navigation bar, click Content.

  2. In the content tree, navigate to Presentation > Styles and open the item you want to update.

  3. Locate the Icon field.

  4. Browse the MDI library and find the icon you want.

  5. Copy the icon name exactly, for example home, account-circle, or chevron-right.

  6. Paste the icon name into the Icon field and save the item.

Note

Changes appear immediately in Page builder. You do not need to rebuild or redeploy. If the icon name is invalid, no icon appears. Custom icons outside the MDI library are not supported.
