Configure field items
This topic describes how to configure the various types of field items after you have added them to a form. Whenever you select a field item, the right-hand pane displays options that let you change aspects of its appearance and behavior.
Configure a button field
Adding an action button field to a form adds a Submit and Back / Next buttons, depending on the page you add it to.
Each page must contain one button. When you add the first field to a page, a submit button is added automatically. If you remove it, you can add it again manually.
To configure a Submit or Next button, you can do the following:
-
Set the color of the button, its background, its border, and its label text.
-
Add a link that opens when a user clicks the button.
-
In the Label field, enter a display name.
-
Use the styling options to edit the style of the action button label.
-
Format the button by setting its width, its margin, the label padding, and the border width and radius.
When the form has more than one page, expand the Back button section at the bottom of the right-hand pane to make the required changes.

When adding an email or a phone field to a form, you can use the editing options in the right-hand pane, including:

-
Hide the field.
Configure short text or a long text fields

-
Set a maximum character limit. The default limit is 200 characters for short text fields, 1,000 characters for long text fields. If you leave the field empty, the field is unlimited.

Add a prefill value.
-
Hide the field.

For multiselect fields, specify the maximum number of options you want your end user to select.
