Install a public app for local development
After configuring a public app, install it in your organization so you can start development.
After installation, your organization's admins and owners can access the Marketplace app, but organization users cannot. This lets you develop your app locally. Before submitting your app for approval from Sitecore, you can uninstall the app from your organization.
To install a public app in your organization for local development:

In the Cloud Portal, click App studio > Studio, then click the public app you want to install.

Click Test > Install.

In the Install modal, depending on the app configuration:

If the app uses a SitecoreAI extension point or has access to SitecoreAI APIs, or both, in the App availability modal, select at least one environment where you want to install the app.
You can change this selection any time after installation, by clicking My apps > More actions
> Update installation options for the app you want to change environments for. -
Review any permissions required by the app.

To confirm your choice, click Install.
You can now start developing your app using the Marketplace SDK. After development and testing, prepare to submit your app for approval from Sitecore.
