Prepare to submit a public app for approval
After developing your app and testing it, prepare to submit your app for approval from Sitecore. These preparations ensure your app is ready for distribution and meets security and compliance requirements.
To prepare to submit a public app for approval:

Store your app's source code in a public or private GitHub repository.

Complete or update your developer profile.

Host your app yourself. Sitecore does not host your Marketplace apps.

Ensure data security and compliance:

Data usage disclosure - describe how your app collects, stores, and processes data.

AI usage disclosure - if your app uses AI or machine learning in any capacity, describe how your app uses artificial intelligence and complies with relevant regulations.

Sitecore security checklist - review the checklist and ensure your app complies with it.

You can now return to the app configuration page to finish configuration and submit your app.
