Delete, archive, or unarchive a deliverable
When orchestrating a campaign in Sitecore Stream, it might be necessary to delete, archive, or unarchive deliverables:
-
Delete - removes a deliverable that is no longer needed or relevant.
-
Archive - temporarily hides a deliverable from your workspace without permanent removal.
-
Unarchive - restores the deliverable's visibility in the workspace, making it editable again.
To delete, archive, or unarchive a deliverable, you must have an Admin app role in Sitecore Stream or an Organization Admin or Organization Owner role in Sitecore Cloud Portal.
Delete a deliverable
Deleting a deliverable permanently removes it from the Overview page, and deletes all tasks associated with it. This action cannot be undone.
To delete a deliverable:
-
In the Stream navigation menu, click Campaigns, then open the campaign that contains the deliverable you want to delete.
-
On the Overview page, open the Deliverables tab, then the List tab.
-
Go to the top-right corner of the deliverable row, and click the settings icon
> Delete. -
If the deliverable you're deleting contains tasks that are dependencies of tasks in other deliverables, deleting the deliverable will break these dependencies.
In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
After deleting, you'll be redirected to the List tab.
Archive a deliverable
Archiving a deliverable hides it from the Overview page without deleting it. Archiving a deliverable also archives all associated tasks.
Archived deliverables are in read-only mode and are excluded from the campaign tracking metrics in My day.
To archive a deliverable:
-
In the Stream navigation menu, click Campaigns, then open the campaign that contains the deliverable you want to archive.
-
On the Overview page, open the Deliverables tab, then the List tab.
-
Go to the top-right corner of the deliverable row, and click the settings icon
> Archive. -
If the deliverable you're archiving contains tasks that are dependencies of tasks in other deliverables, archiving the deliverable will break these dependencies.
In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm archive.
After archiving, you'll be redirected to the List tab on the Overview page.
-
Optionally, to view an archived deliverable, click the archived deliverables section at the bottom of the page.
Click it to expand and view the deliverable in read-only mode. The deliverable and any child tasks will appear as Archived.
Unarchive a deliverable
Unarchiving a deliverable restores it in the Overview page and all its associated tasks. If the deliverable contains a task that was previously a dependency of another task, this dependency will not be reinstated.
If the deliverable you want to unarchive belongs to an archived campaign, unarchive the campaign first before unarchiving the deliverable.
To unarchive a deliverable:
-
In the Stream navigation menu, click Campaigns, then open the campaign that contains the deliverable you want to unarchive.
-
On the Overview page, open the Deliverables tab, then the List tab.
-
Click the archived deliverables section (for example, shown as 1 deliverable archived) to expand it in read-only mode.
-
Go to the top-right corner of the archived deliverable row, and click the settings icon
> Unarchive. -
In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm unarchive. This restores the deliverable to its previous state with all its tasks reinstated.
After unarchiving, you can view the deliverable on the List tab.
