Export statuses

The status of an audience export determines what changes you can make to the export. The export status can be any of the following:

  • Draft - when you create an export, it's in the draft status. On the Build screen, you can work with the export in the following ways:

    • Select an audience for the export.

    • Choose the output format.

    • Set up email and webhook notifications.

    • Test the export before running it.

    • Export full datasets instantly or at scheduled intervals, or export delta datasets daily.

    • Copy or delete the export.

  • Running - when you run an export instantly, or when a scheduled export is currently running, its status changes to running. After a non-scheduled export finishes running, its status changes to draft. After a scheduled export finishes running, its status changes to scheduled.

  • Scheduled - when you schedule an export, its status changes to scheduled. You can't access the Build screen to work with a scheduled export. You can't reschedule, test, delete, or change the output structure of a scheduled export, or run a scheduled full export instantly. To be able to edit all the export settings, you have to first pause the export.

  • Paused - when you pause a scheduled export, its status changes to paused. You can work with a paused export the same way you can work with a draft export. After editing the paused export, you can resume it by scheduling it again.
