Using advanced mode in batch segmentation in Sitecore CDP

If you are a technical user who knows SQL and are familiar with the Sitecore CDP data model, you can enable advanced mode to directly write SQL queries in the SQL editor. Advanced mode enables you to write complex SQL queries and apply regression logic, quartiles, and other advanced segmentation capabilities.

When you switch to advanced mode, any SQL queries you write in basic mode are converted into SQL queries. If you change your mind about using advanced mode, you can switch back to basic mode without losing any of the segment rules you previously created, as long as you do so before saving the query. For this reason, we recommend only switching to advanced more if you are certain that you want to convert any basic segment rules to SQL queries without the possibility of reverting back.
