Delete a decision template

You can delete a decision template when you are certain that no other users need it. If in doubt, change the status from Published to Draft so that the decision template is no longer available on the decision palette but is not deleted. The decision template can be published again if needed.

Team members with a User, Developer, or Admin role in Sitecore Cloud Portal can delete a decision template.

To delete a decision template:

  1. Ensure that the decision template has a status of Draft, not Published. From the Decision templates page, open the template you want to delete and click the toggle switch to put the template in the draft state.

  2. Click Vertical ellipsis > Delete Template.

The vertical ellipsis on the menu bar.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete. The decision template is deleted.
