Duplicate, delete, and view experiment details
How to duplicate, delete, and view experiment details and history (Sitecore Personalize).
This topic describes how to duplicate, delete, and view experiment setup details and history.
Duplicate an experiment
You can duplicate an experiment when you want to create a copy and not affect the original.
To duplicate an experiment:

Open the experiment and on the top-right of the page, click the Horizontal Ellipsis button.

Select Duplicate. A duplicate experiment window displays.

Enter the name of the new experiment

Click the Duplicate button. A copy of the experiment displays.
View experiment history
To view experiment history:

Open the experiment and on the top-right of the page, click the Horizontal Ellipsis button.

Select History. The History sliding modal displays.

Select one of the following filters, if required:

All users - Select the name of one of the users who has edited the experiment.

All sections - Select one of the following types of edits to filter by: Audience, Decisioning, Experiment Goals, Overview, Page Targeting, Schedule

Select date range - Click the Calendar icon to select a date range.

Click the arrow icon adjacent to the type of history you want to view. The modal displays a complete history of the types of edits, along with the username and timestamp of when the edit was made.

Click X to close the slide modal. You return to the Build screen.
Delete an experiment
Before you delete an experiment, ensure that none of your colleagues want to access the experiment or create a copy of it.
To delete an experiment :

Open the experiment and on the top-right of the page, click the Horizontal Ellipsis button.

Select Delete. A confirmation window displays.
ImportantWhen you delete an experiment, its unique ID is also deleted and can’t be reassigned to a new experiment.

Click the Delete button to confirm. The experiment is deleted.
View experiment setup details
To view experiment setup details:

Open the experiment and click the Details menu item.

Navigate to the Setup Details section. It displays the following information:

Type - This displays the type of experiment , such as Web, Interactive, or API.

Allocation - This displays the percentage of web traffic that will be exposed to the experiment . This is not the percentage of guests that can be exposed to each variant, once they enter the test.

Last updated by - This displays the username of the last person who saved the experiment .

Start/End - This displays the date and timestamp of when the experiment is/was scheduled to start. If there is a scheduled date for the experiment to stop, this displays the date and timestamp of when the experiment will end. If the experiment does not have a scheduled end date, Forever displays.

ID - This is the ID of the experiment .
