Manage experiment details
When you set up an experiment in Sitecore Personalize, you can use the Details pane to manage additional experiment options. Here, you can add a hypothesis to the experiment, assign tags, add links and channel labels, and copy the experiment's unique ID.
Add a tag to an experiment
You can assign tags to experiments for easier categorization and reference.
To add a tag:
-
In the Details pane, click Add tags.
-
In the Add new field, enter one or more tags that you want to assign to the experiment and press Enter.
-
To remove a tag, click next to the tag name.
Add a link
You have the option to add any relevant links to documentation or Jira tickets that support the hypothesis or the overall context of the experiment.
To add a link:
-
In the Details pane, click Add links.
-
In the URL field, enter the full URL of a valid link address.
-
In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the link. The Details pane will show this name instead of the full URL.
-
Click Save.
-
To add more links, click Add links and repeat the process.
-
To remove a link, click next to the link.
Add a channel label
You can add labels to an experiment to specify the channel that you intend to use to run the experiment.
Adding a channel only serves as a label and does not determine the actual channel where the experiment will run.
To add a channel label:
-
In the Details pane, click Channels.
-
In the Add Channels field, in the drop-down list, select one or more of the following channels:
-
Call Center
-

-
Push Notification
-
SMS
-
Web
-
-
Click Save.
-
To remove the label, click next to the channel.
Copy the friendly ID of the experiment
When you create an experiment, Sitecore Personalize automatically creates a unique ID for it. You can easily copy this ID from the Details pane.
To copy the friendly ID:
-
In the Details pane, in the Friendly ID section, click to copy the unique ID of the experiment.
