Set up email notifications for an experiment

Stay informed about significant updates in your Sitecore Personalize experiment by setting up email notifications. This feature will promptly alert you and your team members to critical events, such as status changes. Each notification includes the event details and a direct link to access the experiment.

To enable email notifications:

  1. In the experiment builder, click the Notifications tile.

  2. To enable notifications for your email address, click Add my email.

  3. To add more recipients, enter an email address in the field provided and press Enter.

Anyone added to these notifications will receive an email alert whenever a user starts, completes, pauses or resumes this experiment.

Note

When you duplicate an experiment, your notification preferences are not automatically copied. You will need to re-add email addresses to enable alerts.

If you want to stop receiving updates about an experiment, you can disable email notifications.

To disable email notifications:

  1. In the experiment builder, click the Notifications tile.

  2. To stop notifications to your email address, click Remove my email.

  3. To disable notifications for other email addresses, click the x next to the address you want to remove.
