Understanding signals
The Signals page in the Agentic studio delivers personalized, AI-driven research insights based on your selected preferences. It continuously scans trusted industry sources and surfaces concise, relevant insights aligned to the topic, industry, and prompt you define.
What is a signal?
In SitecoreAI, a signal (also called a market signalmarket signal) is a real-time insight that highlights noteworthy trends, news, updates, or shifts related to the topic you choose to track. Each signal provides a concise, research-backed summary designed to support timely and informed marketing decisions.
Your signals are shaped by the preferences you set:

Topic defines the primary subject you want to track.

Industry provides the broader context around your chosen topic.

Prompt guides what the AI should pay closer attention to or emphasize within your selected topic and industry.
For example, if want daily insights about shifts in social media algorithms, you can set your Signals preferences accordingly. You then receive insights that highlight shifts affecting content reach, engagement patterns, and how brands might need to adjust their publishing strategies.
How signals are delivered and used
Signals are available in the Agentic studio in multiple ways to support different workflows:

Signals as a page - view automatically generated insights on the Signals page, based on your preferences. Click Refresh signals
from the Overview page to apply any changes to your preferences. -
Signals as a standalone agent - run the Market Signals agent to generate signals on demand.

Signals within Actions - select the Market Signals agent directly from the Actions interface.
Whether accessed from the Signals page, as a standalone agent, or through Actions, you can generate signals on demand. Updating the inputs generates a new set of signals based on your latest preferences. On the

The Signals page
The Signals page is where you can explore and review the latest market signals for a chosen topic, industry, and prompt.
To access it, in the navigation menu, click Agentic. Then, in the left sidebar, select Signals.
The Signals page displays a gallery of insights generated from your saved preferences. Each signal summarizes a relevant development or trend and highlights areas that might require attention across your marketing activities.
On this page, you can:

Open a signal to view its detailed insights.

Set your Signals preferences by defining a Topic, Industry, and Prompt to adjust the focus of the insights you receive. Currently, each user can have only one active signal at a time.
