Track campaigns with Google Analytics

If you have Google Analytics configured to track conversions, you can use it to track any link clicks from your campaign. You can either configure tracking with Google Analytics for new and existing campaigns.

When enabled, the following UTMs are added (optional):

  • utm_source=newsletter

  • utm_medium=email

  • utm_campaign=YOUR_CAMPAIGN_NAME

When enabled for transactional campaigns, the following UTM will show as (optional):

  • utm_source=transactional

Additionally, if revenue tracking is enabled, the campaign ID cmid is appended to the URL to track campaign-specific revenue (optional).

To configure tracking with Google Analytics for an existing campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to configure Google Analytics for.

  3. On the menu on the left, click Set basic settings, and scroll down to Track your campaign with Google Analytics. Toggle this to Yes.

  4. Click Next.
