Content Editor and Experience Editor
The Content Editor and Experience Editor tools in XM Cloud are the cloud-based versions of the same apps in Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), which is Sitecore's on-prem CMS system. Most of the functionality in the Content Editor and Experience Editor apps is also available in the newer and more intuitive apps:
We encourage content authors and marketers to start using the newer apps and only use the Content Editor and Experience Editor apps for tasks currently not available in the Dashboard, Pages, Components, or Explorer apps.
