Segment Explorer
Segments are groups of guests that you define based on their attributes and behavior. By creating segments, you gain insights into your customer base and can quickly identify the exact proportion of guests associated with any field or value.
Segment Explorer allows you to dive deeper into these guest segments. This dashboard provides key metrics such as the total number of guests in each segment, the amount they spent, their distribution by guest type, and types of items they ordered.
You can filter the data displayed in Segment Explorer by selecting a segment. Click Apply to refresh the dashboard based on your selected segment, or Reset filters to revert to the default view.
The data in Segment Explorer is refreshed every 24 hours. To download the report as a ZIP archive containing CSV files, click the Download icon.
Overview metrics
The overview metrics in Segment Explorer provides a snapshot of the overall financial impact of your selected segment. Explore each metric to understand the segment size, spending behavior, and purchasing patterns of guests.

Audience Size - total number of guests in the selected segment since its creation.

Total Spend - total amount spent by guests in the selected segment since its creation.

Average Spend - average amount spent by each guest in the selected segment since its creation.

Total Orders - total number of orders placed by all guests in the selected segment since its creation.

Average Orders per Guest - average number of orders made by each guest in the selected segment since its creation.
Segment histograms
The First Seen and Last Seen histograms in Segment Explorer provide insights into guest acquisitions and retention patterns over time.

Histogram First Seen - shows the distribution of guests in the selected segment based on the date they were first seen. It allows you to identify periods of high guest inflow, highlighting successful campaigns or promotions. Hover your mouse over a chart section to see the actual number of guests.

Histogram Last Seen - shows the distribution of guests in the selected segment based on the date they were last seen. It allows you to identify periods when guests tend to disengage, providing insights into guest loyalty and retention. Hover your mouse over a chart section to see the actual numbers of guests.
Segment pie charts
Segment Explorer includes three pie charts showing the composition of guests in the selected segment by guest type, channel activity type, and cart type.

Guest Count by Type - shows the total number of guests in the selected segment, and the proportion of guests by type, whether customer or visitor. Hover your mouse over a chart section to display the guest count for that type.

Channel Activity - shows the total number of channel engagements in the selected segment, and the proportion of channels by type, such as mobile app, web, or mobile web. Hover your mouse over a chart section to display the channel count for that type.

Cart Types - shows the total number of carts in the selected segment, and the proportion of carts by type, whether converted, browsed, or abandoned. Hover your mouse over a chart section to display the cart count for that type.
Most popular order items
This table provides an overview of the top order items purchased by guests in the selected segment, sorted in descending order. It includes columns for product, total orders, total spend, and average spend for each order item. To sort a column by name or count, click the column heading.
