View an execution report for an experiment in Sitecore Personalize

You can view an execution report if you want to see experiment execution data in a tabular format. This shows a log of data associated with every execution of a Full Stack experience.

The execution report captures the data produced at each stage of an experiment execution, including request context, decisioning output, and delivery results. Reviewing these sections together helps determine whether an experience executed as expected and where a failure may have occurred.

To view an execution report for an experiment:

  1. On the navigation menu, click Experiments. The experiment list displays.

  2. To view experiments by status, click the Live, Paused, or Completed tab. To refine the list further, click Web, Interactive, or Triggered to display experiments by type.

  3. Click the name of the experiment you want to view.

  4. Click the Operational data menu item. The Operational data screen displays this information:

    • Request context – shows the data available at execution time, such as event data, request parameters, and headers.

    • Delivery data – shows the outcome of any destination request, including responses returned by external systems.

    • Decisioning output – shows which decision model variant executed and the output produced by decisioning logic.

    • Final payload – shows the returned payload.

  5. Click the Execution Report button. The Execution Report sliding modal displays.

  6. From the All drop-down list, select one of the following filters:

    • All: This displays all successful executions as well as executions with errors. This is selected by default.

    • Success: This filter only shows successful executions.

    • Error: This filter only shows executions with errors.

  7. Click the calendar icon to select the date of executions you want included in the report. The report runs and contains the following columns:

    • Time: This displays the time of the experiment execution.

    • Status: This displays the status of the experiment execution.

    • Guest Name: This displays the name of the Guest for whom the experiment was executed.

    • Point of Sale: This displays the Point of Sale associated with the experiment execution.

    • Logs: Click the View Log link to open a log of the experiment execution.

  8. Click the Close button when you're finished viewing the execution report. You return to the Operational screen.
