Add a table to a page
With the page builder, you can add a table in a Rich Text component.
Note
To enable the latest rich text editing capabilities, such as adding a table to a Rich Text component, a developer needs to upgrade your environment to JSS 21.5.2 or later, and you need to add PAGES_ENABLE_NEW_RTE_EDITOR as a new environment variable in the Deploy app.
To add a table to a webpage:
- In the page builder Editor mode, in the Site tree, click the page you want to add a table to.
- On the Components tab, click on a Rich Text component and drag it to the canvas of the webpage.
- Click in the component to make the text editor toolbar appear, then click Insert table
. - Drag the cursor over the template table to highlight the number of rows and columns that you want.
- Use the table toolbar to perform additional formatting of the table.
The configuration settings available for tables are:
- Add header column and rows.
- Insert, delete, or select a column or a row.
- Merge or split cells.
- Edit cell properties like borders, background, dimensions, and text alignment.
- Edit table properties like borders, background, dimensions, and table alignment.
