Combine content from multiple components

The Container component is a container for other components. Adding multiple components to a container helps you:

• Structure your page content.
• Combine content from different fields that originate from the same page or data source.
• Change the data source for multiple components at the same time.

To add a Container component and to change the data source:

1. In the Pages editor view, drag the Container component from the Components tab in the left-hand panel to the appropriate location of the page canvas.
2. Add components to the Container component. For example, Title and Page Content. By default, the components take the data source from the current page. For example, a Title field get the content from the page's title field.
3. To change the data source for the components in the Container component, select the first component individually, and in the right-hand panel, on the Content tab, under Content item, click Edit .
4. In the Control properties dialog box, in the General section, in the Data Source field, click Browse.
5. You can now assign a different content item for the components in the Container component.
