Hide and conceal an element
In the Component builder, you can hide elements from a component layout, either directly, or based on the absence of data from a linked data source. Hidden elements show as unavailable on the component canvas unless they are concealed using the relevant option in the Preview mode or Inspect mode menu.
Hide an element
You might want to hide certain elements from your component layout. Hidden elements are shown as unavailable in the component, but remain visible for editing purposes.
To hide an element:

Select the element.

In the right-hand pane, in the Content section, click Visibility.

Click Hidden .
Hide an element based on data source
To hide an element based on the presence/absence of specific data in a data source:

Select the element.

In the right-hand pane, in the Content section, click Visibility.

Click Conditional.

Associate the element with an object in a data source:

In the Data source drop-down menu, click the relevant data source.

Click the object that you want to associate the element with.
When the data source has an object associated with the element, the element is shown as expected. When the data is missing, the element is hidden.

Conceal hidden elements
Hidden elements are shown as unavailable in the component. To preview the component as it will be displayed on the webpage, you can conceal hidden elements.
To conceal hidden elements shown as unavailable in a component:

In the Preview or Inspect menu, switch on Hide hidden element.
