Create a smart brief

A brief defines the goals, audience, messaging, and key milestones for a campaign or initiative.

From the Briefs page, you can create a brief manually or use the AI Assistant to generate text and build a timeline with key milestones.

Tip

To create a smart brief:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Strategy. Then, in the left sidebar, select Briefs.
  2. On the Briefs page, click Create brief to start a new smart brief.
  3. In the Create brief dialog, select a brief type, then click Create brief.
  4. To rename the brief, click the default name at the top of the page, enter a new name, and press Enter.
  5. Complete the required fields. Depending on the field type, you can optionally do the following:
    • Rich text fields - use the toolbar to format text.
    • Fields with AI Assistant, use AI to help you generate the text:
      • Click the AI Assistant icon AI_assistant_icon.png on the toolbar.
      • Enter a prompt describing what you want.
      • Click Send submit_icon.png to generate a draft.
      • Refine the prompt and regenerate if needed.
      • Click Accept to insert the generated content.
    • Timeline field - use AI to generate milestones:
      • Click AI_assistant_icon.png AI Suggestions.
      • Review the generated suggestions.
      • Regenerate or remove suggestions if needed.
      • Click Accept to insert the timeline.
  6. To upload media items to support the brief, click tray-arrow-up.png Upload.
  7. Click Save.
