Create a smart brief
A brief defines the goals, audience, messaging, and key milestones for a campaign or initiative.
From the Briefs page, you can create a brief manually or use the AI Assistant to generate text and build a timeline with key milestones.
Tip
Alternatively, you can generate a brief using Brand Assistant.
To create a smart brief:
- In the navigation menu, click Strategy. Then, in the left sidebar, select Briefs.
- On the Briefs page, click Create brief to start a new smart brief.
- In the Create brief dialog, select a brief type, then click Create brief.
- To rename the brief, click the default name at the top of the page, enter a new name, and press Enter.
- Complete the required fields. Depending on the field type, you can optionally do the following:
- Rich text fields - use the toolbar to format text.
- Fields with AI Assistant, use AI to help you generate the text:
- Click the AI Assistant icon
on the toolbar. - Enter a prompt describing what you want.
- Click Send
to generate a draft. - Refine the prompt and regenerate if needed.
- Click Accept to insert the generated content.
- Click the AI Assistant icon
- Timeline field - use AI to generate milestones:
- Click
AI Suggestions. - Review the generated suggestions.
- Regenerate or remove suggestions if needed.
- Click Accept to insert the timeline.
- Click
- To upload media items to support the brief, click
Upload. - Click Save.
Next steps
After saving the brief, you can:
- Create and assign to-do tasks to those working on the brief.
- Add reviewers to provide feedback or comment on the brief.
- Link the brief to a campaign.
- Convert the brief into a campaign when you're ready to launch.
