Link a brief to a campaign

A brief defines the goals, requirements, target audience, and key milestones for a campaign.Linking a brief to a campaign keeps your planning and execution aligned.

You can link an approved brief to an existing campaign from either of the following locations:

Before you begin

Make sure the brief status is Approved before linking it to a campaign.

To link a brief to one or more campaigns from the Briefs page:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Strategy.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Briefs.
  3. Select the brief you want to link to a campaign.
  4. On the brief details page, locate the Linked section in the right-hand pane, then click Link campaign.
  5. In the Link campaigns dialog, select the check box next to each campaign you want to link to the brief.
  6. Click Save.

The campaigns linked to the brief appear in the Linked section. Click a campaign name to open its overview page. On that campaign's Briefs tab, you can view the brief you linked.

To link one or more existing briefs from the campaign's Briefs tab:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Strategy.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Campaigns.
  3. On the Campaigns page, select the campaign to which you want to link a brief.
  4. On the campaign's Overview page, click the Briefs tab.
  5. Click Add brief, then select Add existing.
  6. In the Add briefs dialog, select the check box next to each brief you want to link to the campaign.
  7. Click Add.

The selected briefs appear on the campaign's Briefs tab.
