Create a triggered experiment

Abstract

Describes how to create a triggered experiment to send offers or content to an email, SMS, or push notification service provider (Sitecore Personalize).

To create a triggered experiment:

  1. On the navigation menu, click Experiments > Full Stack. A list of all full stack experiments displays.

  2. Click Create Experiment.

  3. Click Triggered Experiment.

  4. In the Name your Experiment field, enter an intuitive name for the experiment. Sitecore Personalize automatically creates an ID when you name the experiment.

    Important

The experiment name must be unique and not belong to any non-deleted experiments.

  5. Click Create. The Build screen displays.

  6. In the Webhook Composer section, click Configure API request to compose a webhook using FreeMarker and send the triggered experiment.
