Getting started with triggered experiments

This topic helps you get started building a triggered experiment. We recommend that you complete these steps in the following order:

  1. Create a triggered experiment.

  2. Compose a webhook to select the destination to send the personalized content.

  3. Compose an API request to use server-side personalization.

  4. Create a trigger to send the personalized content to the destination for distribution.

  5. Apply any of the following options to the triggered experiment:

    • Apply a condition to filter the visitors that see the experiment based on real-time behavior.

    • Apply a segment to configure the experiment to only run for a certain segment of guests.

    • Associate a decision model with your experiment to recommend dynamic offers or content.

  6. Start the experiment.
