1. Create a site collection

Rename or delete a site collection

In Channels, sites are organized in collections. You can rename or delete an entire collection and all of its sites.

To configure a site collection:

  1. In Channels, find the collection you want to manage and click Go to collection.

    Multiple sites appear as tile in the Channels page.

  2. On the Settings tab, you can edit the name of the collection, or its description.

    Note

    Site collections have two names: a display name that labels it and identifies it in the UI, and an internal System name.

  3. To change the internal system name, click Edit next to the System name, enter the new name (up to 50 characters), and click Save. The system name can't include spaces or special characters.

  4. To delete the collection, under Danger zone, click Delete collection and manually type the name of the collection being deleted.

    Warning

    The collection and all its sites will be deleted, and the action can't be undone.

  5. To view all the sites in the collection, click the Sites tab on the left. You can create a new site for this collection on this tab by clicking Create and then following the steps to create a new site.
