Publish a triggered personalization

A triggered personalization does not run while it is in Draft status. Publish it when you are ready for SitecoreAI to respond to matching trigger events and run the configured action.

You can publish the personalization immediately or schedule it to become Live at a later date and time.

To publish a triggered personalization:

1. In the navigation menu, click Optimization.

2. In the left sidebar, click Tests & personalizations.

3. Select Triggered.

4. Select the triggered personalization you want to publish.

   The Configuration page opens.

5. In the upper-right corner, click Publish.

6. Under Available from, select when the triggered personalization becomes available:

   • Immediately - the personalization becomes Live when you publish it.
   • Specific date - select a date and time. The personalization remains Scheduled until then.

7. If you selected Specific date, select the start date, enter the start time, and click Done.

8. Under Available until, select how long the personalization remains available:

   • No end date - the personalization remains available until you stop it.
   • Specific date - select the date and time when the personalization should stop.

9. If you selected Specific date, select the end date and time, then click Done.

10. Click:

    • Publish to start the personalization immediately.
    • Schedule to start the personalization at the selected date and time.

The status changes to Live or Scheduled, depending on the selected start time.

When the personalization is Live, SitecoreAI runs the configured action when the trigger and any configured conditions are met.
