Set up Salesforce Marketing Cloud

This procedure takes you through the setup process for Salesforce Marketing Cloud to work with Sitecore Content Hub.

Important

Custom Content Blocks can only be created by Salesforce Marketing Cloud superusers.

To set up Salesforce Marketing Cloud:

  1. In the Cloud Dashboard, create a package.

  2. On the Details tab of the new package, click Add component.

  3. In the Add component dialog, select Custom Content Block.

  4. Click Next.

  5. In the Set Custom Content Block Properties dialog, fill in the following fields:

    Field name

    Description

    Mandatory

    Name

    A name for the package.

    Yes

    Description

    A short description of the package and its purpose.

    No

    Endpoint URL

    https://<CONTENT_HUB_ENDPOINT>/en-us/salesforce-connect/salesforce-connect-approved-assets?forcePassive=true

    Yes

  6. On the Access tab, add users that you want to be able to create content using Content Hub assets. To add a user, enter their user name and click the matching search result.

  7. Click Save.
