Edit content
You can edit content from the content details page by clicking the field you want to modify. By default, fields are displayed in read mode only.

To edit content, you must have the necessary permissions.
To edit content:

On the menu bar, click Content > Search.

On the Search page, search for and select the content item you want to edit.

On the content details page, click in a text field to add or edit text. When you edit a field, your changes are temporarily stored until you click Save. However, the changes won't be visible in read mode until you save them, and you will see a There are unsaved changes warning next to the Save button.

Use the toolbar to generate draft text using AI, to format text, insert assets, and add comments, code, or links.

To edit content publication information and linked brief assets, click the Strategy tab. An indicator at the top of the tab displays the percentage of completion. When you add strategy input, the percentage increases.

Click Edit
and define the fields on the Strategy tab.

To add brief assets, in the Brief assets section, click + Add and upload files or add existing items.

To edit data associated with the content, click the Details tab.

Click Edit
and define the fields on the Details tab.

To see project-related information about content, click the Project Info tab. The Project Info tab displays project-related information retrieved from Sitecore MRM. This tab is only available when you enable the projects functionality for content.

Do one of the following:

Click Save to save your changes for the current version.

Click Save as new version to save your changes in a new content version.

Selecting the Master asset is content check box on the Details tab locks the content item. You cannot edit the content item when this check box is selected.
To perform other actions on content:

On the menu bar, click Content and select Search.

On the Search page, search for and select the content item you want to edit.

On the content details page, click More actions
and select an operation.
You can also transition between states in the Sitecore CMP state flow.
