Get started with projects and jobs

Sitecore Marketing Resource Management (MRM) lets you plan, manage, and organize projects and jobs.

A typical workflow in Sitecore MRM covers the life-cycle of a project or job, as illustrated in the following diagram:

These workflows include the following high-level steps:

Basic project

  • Create - create a basic project.

  • Add and assign tasks - add tasks to the project and assign them to users.

  • Complete tasks - either decline a task, or accept it and then complete it when all work is done.

Multi-stage project

  • Create - create a multi-stage project.

  • Add stages and milestones - organize your project into a series of stages and milestones.

  • Add and assign tasks - add tasks to the project and assign them to users.

  • Complete tasks - either decline a task, or accept it and then complete it when all work is done.
