AI features in Content Hub, including AI-assisted visual search, are Sitecore Stream capabilities.

Why am I not getting the search results I expect?

This could be due to how you have worded your search query. The AI-assisted visual search brings up more accurate results when you provide a detailed description of what you are looking for. See Best practices - Using visual search.

How is the relevance score used?

When an image is uploaded for visual search, the AI service converts a representation of the image to a vector. This vector consists of a list of numbers that represent the visual characteristics of the image and is stored in ElasticSearch. This enables two types of searches:

  • Image-to-image search, where a query image is converted in a vector and compared to vectors that are stored to find visually similar images.

  • Text-to-image search, where a text query (such as sunset over mountains) is converted to a vector and used to find images that match the concept.

How do I increase the number of search results returned?

Modify the visual search settings. See Configure Sitecore AI for visual search.

How do I decrease the number of irrelevant results?

If you are seeing a lot of results that are not relevant to the search query, you can:

Why are my brand kits not displaying in Content Hub?

Verify that they are published in Sitecore Stream and that you have configured brand kit integration.

Why can't I access brand management?

You must be a superuser or be assigned the necessary ManageBrandKits privilege.

Why isn't the Enable feature available for the Brand Assistant?

Before you can enable the Brand Assistant, you must map the brand kits to the Content Hub entities.
