Enable collections for a definition
Note
To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.
To create collections of a certain entity definition type, you must enable the collections functionality for that definition.
Enabling collections for an entity definition:
- Extends the entity definition with the relations and properties required for use with collections.
- Updates the CollectionSetting with the definition name and the new relation name.
- Updates the Search, Details, and Selection components used on the collection detail page.
- Updates the Search and Details components used by the Creation component on the collection detail page.
To enable collections for a definition:
- On the menu bar, click Manage .
- On the Manage page, click Schema.
- On the Schema page, click the entity definition you want.
- On the entity definition page, click Actions and then click Enable/Disable.
- In the Enable/Disable dialog box, turn on the Collections switch.
- To enable access to the detail page for this collection, enter the name of that page in the Detail page name field.
- Click Confirm.
- Click Done.
