Create an entity

To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

In Sitecore Content Hub, there are several ways to create entities such as assets, campaigns, projects, and so on. Methods vary depending on the entity definition, but you can create any entity from the Entity list page, regardless of their definition.

To create an entity:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. On the Manage page, click Entities.

  3. On the Entities page, click the entity definition you want.

  4. On the Entity list page, to add an entity, click the add entity button in the top-right corner. For example, to add an asset, click Asset.

    Important

    The button name changes depending on the entity you have selected.

  5. In the entity creation dialog, for example, the Asset dialog, configure the entity. The members available to edit depend on the entity definition.

  6. Click Save.
