Share asset templates internally
You can share an asset template with individual internal users or with multiple users in user groups.
If you have policies that grant read access to all templates, you might have problems with template sharing, which is designed to give access to specific templates only. You need to update your policies so that users no longer have read access to M.Asset entities where M.ContentRepository = "Template".
To share an asset template with internal users:

On the menu bar, click Profile and settings
> 
Templates. -
On the Templates page, next to the template you want to share, click User access
. -
In the User access dialog, click
Add users. -
On the Users and User groups tabs, select the users and user groups that you want to share the asset template with.

Click Add.

In the User access dialog, assign one of the following access rights to each user or user group:

Viewer - the user can use the asset template.

Editor - the user can use, edit, or delete the template, and also share it with other users.

To choose whether to inherit security settings from a specific user or user group, turn the the Inherit user security settings from parent switch on or off.

Click Save.
