Create a project from a template

You can create a basic or multi-stage project based on an existing template, inheriting all the characteristics of that template, including duration.

To create a project from a template:

1. On the menu bar, click Project > Projects.

2. On the Projects page, click New project.

3. In the New project dialog, select From template, and fill out the following fields:

   Field	Description	Mandatory
   Template	The required template. Enter a valid template name or click Add to search for it.	Yes
   Name	The name of the new project.	Yes
   Start date	The date when the project starts. Click the date picker or enter a date.	No

4. Click Create.
